About ERDA
Sometimes, innovation isn't about inventing something new.
It's about remembering what nature already knew.
For years, we searched for better ways to support freedom of movement. Along the way, we learned that the human body develops best when it is allowed to function naturally, not when it is restricted. That true ergonomics is not about control, but about respecting human anatomy. And that the best products are those that allow the body to do what it already knows how to do.
That philosophy became ERDA.
Not from the desire to create another pair of shoes.
But from the belief that a child's very first steps deserve the same care with which nature designed them.
Behind ERDA stand more than 14 years of experience in developing ergonomic products for children. Through ISARA, we have created internationally awarded ergonomic baby carriers, trusted by parents and babywearing professionals around the world for the way they support natural development and respect the biomechanics of the human body.
Throughout this journey, we came to understand one essential truth: freedom of movement begins with respect for the body.
And if we could support a child's natural mobility while being carried, the next natural step was to support the way they walk.
That's how ERDA was born.
In April 2025, we introduced the first ERDA collection for children—a barefoot footwear collection designed to protect the foot without changing the way it functions, and to accompany natural development rather than influence it.
We chose to see the foot not as something that needs correcting, but as one of the most remarkable structures of the human body—a complex system designed to sense, adapt, create balance, and support every step.
So we asked ourselves one simple question.
If nature spent millions of years perfecting the human foot, why should we try to change it?
Every pair of ERDA shoes is built around that answer.
The anatomical shape allows the toes to spread naturally. The flexible sole lets the foot sense the ground and adapt to every step. The zero-drop construction preserves the body's natural alignment, while carefully selected materials provide protection without compromising freedom of movement.
But ERDA is more than barefoot footwear.
